I think that Steve Sexton has hit the problem squarely on the head.  The City of Burlington has raised the home owners tax rate by 2 percent while surrounding communities have held the line.  The Burlington City Council should come clean with tax payers and say that they borrowed the money, and how much they are paying for this loan.  In an economic time when there is not an answer when there will be a recovery, it is not a time for Burlington to be spending money that they don’t actually have.  The idea of buying property and building a museum and railroad station at unknown cost is totally irresponsible.

In regards to the MVSD Bullies!
It is a disgrace how we have let any schools in Skagit County or anywhere else in America allow bullies, gangs, violence of any kind.  Where are the adults? Where are the parents? Why are children getting away with such crimes, they are children, it needs to get stopped, and if that means seperating violent children from the regular children, well step up to the plate and start a special school for them where they can be watched and get the special help they need with strong leadership, not afraid to teach them right from wrong.  Not that hard to figure out.
So lets get going.
