ANACORTES — State wildlife officers Monday arrested a second man in connection with Dungeness crab stolen from a wholesaler on Thanksgiving.
The 30-year-old Anacortes man was booked on investigation of first-degree unlawful trafficking of shellfish and first-degree unlawful use of a commercial fishing license.
On Sunday, Anacortes police and state Fish and Wildlife Department officers arrested a 21-year-old Anacortes man after investigating reports of 380 pounds of missing crab. About 200 pounds was recovered, officers said. The younger man was released from jail Monday.
