Very well-written, Colonel. 

These people are guilty of a crime, no differently than if they’d stolen my car or robbed a gas station.  The very first thing they did upon entering the United States was commit a crime; the crime of violating our national border.  If the San Juan Islands are a hotbed of illegals then the Anacortes ferry landing is a smart place for the Border Patrol to set up shop.

Three cheers for our Federal Officers and for people like Lt. Col. Rasavagel who have the backbone to speak out about this silent invasion.

I’m with you, Colonel.  If we aren’t willing to defend our own country and support those who we depend on to actually do it on the front lines, we don’t deserve to have it.
