The only reason the pro fluoride movement is pushing fluoride is so that insurance companies like “Delta Dental” won’t have to pay for fluoride treatments anymore. It has nothing to do with health or teeth. The day the county commissioners had their vote Dr Howard Leibrand said that the reason they started pushing the drug was because some people had written in requesting that the water be fluoridated. Well, Tracy Garland started pursuing fluoridation here in 2003 and in 2005 there were some form letters of people requesting fluoridation. There were letters from Anacortes, which had already been fluoridated, there was a letter from Whatcom county. It actually all started in 2003 and with Tracy Garland not letter from citizens. And the deception goes on....
