It would be nice that the people could vote on all legislation with technogogy we now have. I agree let the people vote on spending the money and selecling site for dog park if they want it or don’t. We could eliminate need for a city council or assembly in Olympia. Problem with the “dump” or transfer center is the mayor and council had or should we say, have no control on processing a building permit and if they tried it would be considered a ex post facto decision and City would really be in trouble. Sedro-Woolley should have rezoned that property public so school district bought it. Horse is out of barn and nothing mayor or council can do, it’s up to a judge and I’m afrid Deluxe is in the driver’s seat.
