Fred Meyer stores’ parent company has announced a recall of ground beef sold in all its stores after reports of an E. coli bacteria outbreak in the Midwest.
Stores, including the Fred Meyer located on South Burlington Blvd., discarded all beef supplied by Omaha-based Nebraska Beef Ltd. on Tuesday evening. The stores are now carrying beef from a different supplier.
