Criminals beware: You’re being watched.

The city of Mount Vernon has added to its collection of surveillance cameras after Wal-Mart recently donated $5,000 to purchase the additional equipment to help law enforcement downtown.

People know the surveillance cameras are around?  This is the first I’ve heard of it and I’ve never seen a camera set up in downtown Mount Vernon.  They seem to be well hidden and therefore not a deterrence.
