The Port of Anacortes commissioners approved construction at Curtis Wharf to repair sink holes and other damage caused by erosion of the abutment wall at its July 17 meeting.

The project entails repairing the original 120-foot bulkhead by attaching pressure-treated plywood panels against the horizontal lagging between the timber piles and backfilling.
