SEDRO-WOOLLEY — The City Council voted unanimously Wednesday to put a $2 million Fire Department bond on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.

If approved, Sedro-Woolley residential property owners would pay about $17 a year per $100,000 in assessed valuation. However, there would be tax breaks for low-income residents, Finance Director Patsy Nelson said.

Vote Yes! for this cause to support our local Fire Department and Volunteer Fire Fighters.  This Proposition is looking forward for our town.

Found the other thread.....no hatred towards our city goverment just fact....I love our firefighters to bad the decisions of the city goverment has put you all in a dangerous position… that’s what angers me....again you all should of had the equipment needed to do your jobs safe.

Past decisions are done with. We have to live in the present.  That is an an opportunity to get ahead of the game and be proactive by getting the Ladder Truck, replacement truck and 2nd station in town.  Both would allow for more growth and safety in our community.

I do hope you consider supporting the FireFighters with a YES vote :)
