The time for politicking the subject of energy is long gone. It’s time to go on a crash program of building wind, solar, and nuclear power generation facilities all over the place. We need to increase our refining capacity and drill enough of our own oil to eliminate any dependence on foreign oil. And we need to get it done ASAP, starting now. No arguments, no compromising, no delays. Just get ‘er done! The sooner we start, the sooner the problems will start to decrease.

True, but our Washington congress+ Democrates don’t want to lift their ban on drilling.. they are beholden to the Leftist and the eviromentialist Wacos who want to see the demise of our way of life.... Beside Congress are enviouse that they don’t control oil. Like they want to.

They control the issue of lettng us drill.  They won’t lift the ban.. so they are in control of Oil so to speek.. IN obtaining to drill for more oil that is.

Ok, what about 18 months ago when the Republicans controlled congress. Why was there no vote then?  I really do think we should drill more, in Alaska though, I see a new energy source in Hydrogen coming in the next few years, what I have read about it sounds encouraging, I agree we need to bump our “own” oil up and think it will happen whether Mcain or Obama is Pres.  However, I don’t see the price at the pump going way down as a result, they are business people and will get as much as they can at the pump.
Maybe we have found a common ground...........

Once we begin drilling the price will go dowm.. when the Prez announce that the excet order for drilling was nulled. The price began to drop.  also beside the people not buying gas a much. a supply began to build up.  The law of supply and demand ..does work, when given the chance.
