For all you eclectic performing arts types out there, be sure to check out one of Skagit Valley’s best kept performing arts secrets “The Conway Muse” at http://www.conwaymuse.com/ . It’s a really neat venue out in Conway, with some really amazing talented local acts that perform there. Also if I remember correctly they have an open mic night on Weds. as well for all u up and coming poets and musicians, it’s really cool.

Also if you’re big into independent film, be sure to check out the historic Lincoln Theatre in Mt.Vernon. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a place that’s been around for quite a few decades, where you can catch a live theatre production, or even a really great independent film. Be sure to check out their website http://www.lincolntheatre.org/ , I highly reccomend them. Plus the majority of the staff are all volunteers who just love helping out and being a part of a place that’s been a part of Skagit Valley history for quite some time.

I just wanted to give a special thank you to everyone who caught the show last night for the tribute we had to Pablo Sanchez Rodriguez of Mt.Vernon last night. Pablo’s life was sadly cut short last weekend in a tragic motorcycle accident, and last night we celebrated his contributions to the lives he touched, and offered our deepest love and sympathy to his family, and esspecially his children who will always miss their dad terribly. So last night we wanted to celebrate Pablo’s life, and show love to everyone who has recently lost a loved one in the hopes we might be able to help them remember those good times they shared. But thanks again to everyone who caught last night’s broadcast. :o)
