The state Department of Agriculture has issued a warning about raw milk sold from Shaw Island this month.

The agency reported finding harmful bacteria in milk from Our Lady of the Rock Dairy on Shaw Island in early August and recommends customers who purchased milk from the dairy at that time discard it immediately.
