City Council approves settlement proposed by organization’s officials

Secret Harbor has received a green light to locate a group home in Sedro-Woolley.

The non-profit organization received approval during the Aug. 13 City Council meeting when the Council passed a settlement agreement proposed by Secret Harbor officials.

I really hope these guys get a fair shake without a knee-jerk reaction from a close minded and ignorant vocal minority. If there are concerns, then I’m sure that they’ll come to light in an appropriate forum.

I happen to work with the people who will be educating these children...and they are GOOD KIDS.  They’ve seen so much sadness in their lives.  They are surrounded by people who are doing their best to make sure they get a fair start in life (being that their biological parents did NOTHING)...I just hope there are no “incidents.”
