That does not sound like a very tolerant stance on your part. Should we censure what our kids hear? The Pastor was invited by a Christian group to speak to their club. If the administrators are going to ban individuals whom offend some in the school shouldn’t we then ban others who speak at the school which may offend different students? Freedom of speech and tolerance must be a two way street or there will continue to be hate and discontent as long as one group feels they are being muzzled from voicing their opinion. Why is it not ok for this Pastor to voice his views which may offend others while it is ok for other clubs on the campus and other campuses speak opinions that offend non gay or lesbian students? I’m saying we don’t ban either but leave it open to debate and let the students decide.
