A 12-year-old Moses Lake girl was killed and her father seriously injured Sunday in a motorcycle crash on Highway 20, about two miles west of Burlington.

This tragic death could’ve been prevented by simple defensive driving on the part of the girl’s dad.  He was evidently not paying attention to traffic, following to closely, or both.  A terrible way to learn a lesson.
