Skagit County commissioner candidate Bill Turner planned to be ringing doorbells in District 2 and 3 of Skagit County last Saturday, the first weekend after the Aug. 19 primary, as the race to the general election gears up — and expands.
Ron Wesen, who took slightly more than 50 percent of the primary ballots, also aimed at getting out to the rest of the districts to listen to residents’ concerns and answer their questions.
