I do know and don’t think YOU want to approach this with me

Sorry, but I don’t buy it.  You haven’t said anything so far that leads me to believe that you do know what you’re talking about here.

Now, as far as freedom of religion - fine.  I agree that is one of the foundations of this country, and I believe it should stay that way.

But I thought you didn’t think I knew what I was talking about?!?! HAHAHA Okay.........

probably more than half of that 80% believes it too

Once you’ve completed your statistically accurate poll on this, let me know what you find. <<sigh>>

But this country has been a friend of Israel since 1947 .....

That’s not the issue.  But, you have to consider that sometimes your best friend isn’t the “yes man”, the best friend is the one who tells you “no”.

McCain and Wright aren’t running for President of VP, so that’s put to rest.  Good.

Now, the issue at hand is that Palin believes the United States as a NATION is doing “God’s Will” in Iraq and that its “God’s Will” for us to build a gas line. (Spoken by Palin in June 2008 at the Wasilla Assembly of God, just 2 month before saying she doesn’t know what the VP does, and just a month after that she was the Republican VP candidate). I don’t think God cares about a gas line, I think its blasphemy to claim God cares about Palin’s gas line, but Palin thinks its “God’s Will.” And Palin wasn’t chosen to have an impact on the evangelical vote? hahaha Sure....

Then we have that pesky little economy issue that McCain follows Greenspan’s book to try to understand.

We have an ever-increasing debt ceiling (McCain with “yea” votes on the issue when he voted, Obama and Biden with nay votes) along with McCain’s promises of across-the-board tax cuts with no plan to pay for what we’ve played (which very much threatens our national security, by the way), growing corporate profit with McCain promises of more significant tax cuts for this segment, stagnant middle-class wage (the backbone of this country), a growing poverty population, increasing unemployment that’s forcast to get worse than its already 5-year high.

What about McCain’s economy plan - no new taxes and more tax cuts - realistic?  Is he REALLY being logical and truthful about that, or is he “pulling a Bush”?

And how about what is the McCain/Palin ticket going to do for YOU?

When she says exactly that as a vice-presidential candidate, get back to me.  Until then, it’s just more hyperbole and hysterics from you.

Keep a very frightening, narcissistic man with a very frightening personal agenda out of the White House.

Why does it matter?  The difference in time is 2-3 months, a month or two before she didn’t even know what the VP does.  Does a devout Christian’s view on God change in 2-3 months?  God certainly didn’t change in that time frame, and neither did the prospect for Alaska gas lines.

Keep a very frightening, narcissistic man with a very frightening personal agenda out of the White House.

Let me rephrase - What McCain/Palin would do for you: put a very frightening, narcissistic man and woman with frightening personal agendas in the White House.

God’s Will is in gas lines, and the fate of the economy is in Greenspan’s book.

Let me rephrase

<BIG SNIP>

Don’t bother me right now - I’m watching Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL’s season premiere.

;-)

Glad to know where you get your “facts”.

(oh...and ps....when you go to watch tv, you can leave the computer behind, turn it off, or don’t hit the “send/receive” button to avoid being “bothered”.). :)

I’m just reading a story that references Palin’s account of today that she went to Iraq last year to visit Alaska National Guard troops - but the commander of the 3rd Battalion at the region Palin claims to have visited, Lt. Col. Dave Osborn, says no, she wasn’t there.

OH MY GOSH Livin!  That is PERFECTLY stated, which I’m sure is no surprise to you (since you typed it), but that - in a nutshell - is EXACTLY it!  I can’t believe I’m agreeing with you :)

All I know is seeing how 500,000 Alaskan’s received some even an upwards to over 3000 dollars in their bank accounts, all because of the insanely high recent costs of oil that all of us down here in the lower 48 have been suffering from, and one of those Alaskans being a young man who is in a picture at the link i’ve listed below, after just buying a box with all the instruments for the video game rock band with his money he received from the State of Alaska due to the state’s windfall profits from the high cost of crude oil and especially crude oil. All I know is that’s a vice president i’ll be saying no to. Again haven’t we had enough of big oil politics in this country?? But hey i’m looking on the brighter side, at least now when I fill up my gas tank that rather then have all that money go to the pockets of some billionaire oil tycoon, that at least part of it has gone to some guy barely even my age to not only have a nice several thousand dollar chunk of change to fill his gas tank with, but to be able to buy a totally cool video game as well, way to go govenor palin!

Can you believe it?  Yes - we agree on Obama (of all things ;-)

(and don’t worry about the sniplyness - it’s not important as long as you get your point across!)

What are you talking about, DJ?  Alaskan residents have been getting these annual checks from the Alaska Permanent Fund for decades.  The Alaska Permanent Fund was constitutionally put in place in 1976 - it’s not a new thing.

I never said it was new, one thing I did forget to state though is over the last year is that given the current price of energy especcially crude oil, is that according to wikipedia the amount of money given to every native alaskan has nearly doubled. It just seems ironic that up there they’re raking in the dough, but the many in America are struggling to fill the gas tank.

This is true DJ. Alaska residents have been getting that $$$$ for a LONG time and, if I’m not mistaken, some of that $ also funds social programs.  I could be wrong about that though.

So what?  Move to Alaska and you can cash in too.

I hear ya DJ...but it’s the PRIME example of supply and demand (and market manipulation) that’s causing the price of gas to go up and up....and that IS NOT going to change.  Neither Republican nor Democrat will change that.  Special Interests have them BOTH wrapped...(and then there’s that tiny little municipality called china :)

Okay....let’s talk about Obama.  What is “frightening” and “narcissistic”?  Supply resources please.

And the name-calling?  Well, that’s what George Bush did to McCain in the build-up to the 2000 elections, calling him the “father of an illegitimate black baby” etc.  You McCain campers want to continue “more of the same” with the name-calling? Almost 8 years later, look where falling into that trap has gotten us!

Ahhh.....but I’ll wait patiently for anything substantial and objective regarding “frightening” and “narcissitic” - but what comes to my mind with those two words is this:
http://images.mydd.com/images/user/1360/Natl_Debt_Chart_2004.gif

and then there’s that tiny little municipality called china

In other words, with regards to the link and statement about - China loves Republicans.
