Sam King and his wife Cari spent an evening recently at Tugboat Park in Skyline sharing their love of kites.

The couple have been making and flying their own kites for nearly 10 years. They plan to showcase some when they travel to the International Kite Festival in France Sept. 6-14. The event features people from 38 countries and attracts nearly half a million visitors
