The Anacortes School District had one minor finding related to paperwork in its most recent audit.

“It was a very technical issue,” said Lisa Matthews, district business and finance director.

In the audit report, which was released May 19, the Washington State Auditor’s Office found the district did not comply with federal requirements related to time and effort documentation in the special education program.
