An unknown number of Skagit County residents lost power Saturday afternoon and evening in scattered areas, as high winds broke off tree limbs that fell onto power lines.
A Puget Sound Energy spokeswoman said crews were working Saturday evening to restore electricity to customers who did not have power.
Trees and branches that were thick with foliage and heavy from Saturday rain broke off in the afternoon wind and fell onto power lines in some areas, said Dorothy Bracken, a spokeswoman with PSE.
