MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon boys’ tennis team faced the Lynden Lions and a dose of nasty weather on Monday afternoon, and in the end weren’t quite able to overcome either.

Mount Vernon’s Ryan Schwehm and Jeremy Boyd got wins in singles and the duo of Sean Wells and Kevin Sutherland won their doubles match, but the Lions prevailed 4-3 in the Northwest Conference matchup.Read The Full Story
