Registration is required in order to post message topics, send and receive private messages, create/update a personal profile, and access some of the other forum features. Anyone who would like these extended priviledges needs to register, activate their account and log in to the forum.

Is Registration Safe?
We realize that people worry about their privacy when they consider joining a discussion forum. Some are afraid they'll get too much email or too many private messages. Others might feel offended by the topic messages that other people post or have negative reaction to some people's avatars or signatures. Registering on the goskagit forums allow features that accommodate a broad range of personal comfort zones such as:- Registration/membership is free.
- The preferences in your Control Panel are flexible; you need not reveal any information that you do not want others to see.
- You can control whether members can email you.
- You can control whether all members or specific members can send you private messages.
- When you log in, you can control whether your screen name is shown or hidden in the Active Members online users list.
- You can hide specific members topic messages (and show them again).
- You can hide avatars and signatures in everyone's topic messages (and show them again).
How to Register
Registering is done in three steps: Registering, activating your account and logging in.Step 1 - Registering
At the very top-right of any page on goskagit.com is a 'Register' link. Clicking this will take you to the member registration page.
- Enter the username and password you want to use to log into the forum.
- Your screen name is the name that others can see throughout the forum (in your topic message posts, personal profile, private messages, Active online users list, etc.). In the Screen Name text box, do one of the following:
- If you want to use the same screen name that you used for your username, leave the text box blank.
- If you want to use a different screen name, enter it in the Screen Name text box.
- From time to time, we send our members emails notifying them of events and specials. If you would like to opt-in for these events and specials, select 'Yes'. If you would not like to be included, select 'No'.
- For anti-spam reasons, you must enter the word you see in the image into the box below.
- Select the "I agree to the terms of service" check box, indicating that you agree to adhere to all the statements written in the Terms of Service text box. (Registered members who do not adhere to them will have their memberships revoked without any notification.)
- Goskagit.com will send you an activation notice. You must activate your account before you can log in.
Step 2 - Activating your Account
After you register for the forum, the system sends you an email message that contains a link. Simply click on the link to activate your membership.
A message is displayed in your browser, indicating that your membership is activated. A link is included, which you can use to navigate to the forum home page. From there, you can click the Log In link or use the short login form to log into the forum.
Step 3 - Logging In
Clicking on the 'Login' option found at the very top-right of any page of goskagit.com will take you to a login screen. Information on how to login is covered in the Logging In help section.

An Operator monitors and controls refinery process equipment while working a rotating 12-hour shift, often outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
