This trail isn’t going to be named “most spectacular.” However, it has its own personality, which includes large patches of mud, stinging nettles and blackberry… Little Mount Si lies in the shadow of its big brother, Mount Si. Mount Si is the most popular hiking trail in the region — if not the state. This 624-acre site includes a shallow lake surrounded by extensive wetlands, fields, forest and riparian zone. This is an urban walk that passes through the middle of Mount Vernon from east to west. It boasts green fields, woods, bubbling creeks and industrial settings. Geneva Pond is within the Stimpson Family Nature Reserve east of Bellingham.
