Will Hunter is getting some playing time with the Washington State football team.
Hunter, a 6-5, 285-pound redshirt freshman from Oak Harbor, has come off the bench to play in five games this season on the offensive line. He also plays on special teams.
Hunter was listed a co-starter on the Cougars’ depth chart at left tackle going into Saturday’s game against Stanford, but did not play.
Hunter’s Oak Harbor teammate Marshall Lobbestael started three games at quarterback for the Couars this season.
Lobbestael tore ligaments in his left knee on Oct. 11 against Oregon State and is out for the season.
