The owner of a boat moored at a marina in the 1000 block of Q Avenue got an unexpected surprise when he checked on it around 11 a.m. Monday, June 15 — a man and woman, both naked, in the main stateroom.

The unknown couple fled but the woman left behind a purse containing a photo ID. The boat owner confirmed it was the same woman. There was evidence the couple had been eating and drinking while on board the boat.

The man, who was found in the area, told an officer the woman invited him onto the boat. The boat owner said she did not have permission to be there.

The man faces a charge of criminal trespass and the woman faces the same when found.
