Cable barrier repairs to affect I-5 in Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON – Drivers who travel southbound I-5 near Mount Vernon can expect minor delays on Thursday night, the state Department of Transportation says.

Crews will close the left lane of southbound I-5 from 7 to 11 p.m. at milepost 224.6, just south of the Anderson Road exit, to repair damaged cable median barrier.
