An open house will be held next week celebrating the opening of the recently completed Sedro-Woolley Municipal Building.
The new facility is located at 325 Metcalf Street and the event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., before the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The new building is a two story addition to the city’s current Public Safety Building that houses the city’s administrative staff, court and council chambers.
The event will be catered by Joy’s Sedro-Woolley Bakery and is sponsored by Colacurcio Brothers Construction Co., Inc. — the company that constructed the building.
