SCHOOL BOARD: LA CONNER — The La Conner School Board will vote Monday to approve a resolution for the collection of the 2009-2010 levy. The board will also hear a presentation on energy audit results, and on the high school’s AVID program. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the school board meeting room on the second floor, 304 N. Sixth St., La Conner.
SCHOOL BOARD: BURLINGTON — The Burlington-Edison School Board will hear a fiscal report and an enrollment report Monday. The board will also adopt new policies on staff recognition and how staff should deal with concussions and head injuries during sports. SCHOOL BOARD: SEDRO-WOOLLEY — The Sedro-Woolley School Board will hear reports Monday on the district’s budget, and on Mary Purcell Elementary. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Mary Purcell Elementary School, 700 Bennett St.
SCHOOL BOARD: CONWAY — The Conway School Board will vote Monday on a resolution to surplus equipment. The board will also have a discussion on the upcoming maintenance and operations levy. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Conway School library, 19710 State Route 534, Mount Vernon.
DRUG AWARENESS: STANWOOD — Stanwood Camano Community Resource Center and Healthy Choices Coalition will offer a community conversation “Drug Awareness and Identification” with Deputy David Chitwood from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Stanwood Middle School, 9405 271st St. N.W.
