A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a stranger who entered her home Tuesday morning, according to the Burlington police.

The girl was alone in her aunt and uncle’s apartment in west Burlington about 8 a.m. when the man came into her home. The girl walked into the living room and saw a stranger there and he attacked her, Detective Sgt. Scott Butler said.

After the rape, the man fled the apartment, Butler said.

The man is described as 5-foot 4-inches with a large build. He is in his late 20s and was wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt and brown pants, Butler said.

Police do not have any suspects in the rape.
