MOUNT VERNON — Jillian Annette Johnson and Travis Wade Gieger were married in an afternoon ceremony Saturday, June 20, 2009, at La Conner Flats in Mount Vernon.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Julie Johnson of Mount Vernon.
The groom is the son of Bill and Luanne Gieger of Soap Lake.
Brian Stiles officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride carried a clutch-style bouquet of stargazer lilies, pink and cream roses and pink peonies.
Dallas Moody of Sedro-Woolley was the maid of honor.
Groom’s brother Jeramie Gieger of Soap Lake was the best man.
Bride’s sister Erika Peck, niece Rikkilinn Johnson, Rosalee Schnitzer and Serena Stangeland, all of Sedro-Woolley, were the bridesmaids.
Bride’s brother Brandon Peck and Troy Crookshank, both of Mount Vernon, Clint Buhler of Canada, Greg Baker of Stanwood, and the groom’s dog, Spike, were the groomsmen.
Kylie Crookshank and Ashleigh Mason, both of Mount Vernon, were the flower girls.
The bride’s dog, Pooper, was the ring bearer.
Jody Taylor of Arlington sang and played his guitar for the ceremony. Emerald Forest Productions and Mike in the Morning from KAPS Radio provided music for the reception, which was hosted by the bride’s parents at La Conner Flats.
The bride graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 2006 and attended Skagit Valley College.
She is employed by Skagit Farmers Supply in Sedro-Woolley.
The groom graduated in 2000 from Sedro-Woolley High School.
He is a self-employed farrier, operating Gieger Horseshoeing in Skagit County.
The couple took a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii.
They live in Mount Vernon.
