BOW — Meredith Christine Johnson and Shane Andrew Westman were married in an evening ceremony Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish.

The bride is the daughter of Elliott and Vicki Johnson of Mount Vernon. The groom is the son of Mary Lea and Ron Johnson of Bow and Steve and Shari Westman of West Palm Beach, Fla.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Stephen Moore.

The bride carried a bouquet of cream gerbera daisies. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of burnt orange calla lilies.

The bride’s sister, Anna Youngberg of Anacortes, was matron of honor. Ted Fleming of Mount Vernon was best man.

Alicia Watson of Mount Vernon and Marga Hilde of Sedro-Woolley were bridesmaids.

Jason Quatsoe of Mount Vernon and Ryan McDonald of Clear Lake were groomsmen.

Ron Johnson and Travis Ross, both of Bow, and Marc Youngberg of Anacortes were ushers.

The groom’s niece, Tessa Ross, and nephew, Tyson Ross, of Bow were the flower girl and ring bearer.

Sunrise Strings of Bellingham provided music at the wedding and subsequent reception.

The bride graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2000, received an associate’s degree from Skagit Valley College in 2002 and a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in 2006. She works as a Spanish teacher at Sedro-Woolley High School.

The groom graduated in 1990 from Burlington-Edison High School and from Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in 1992. He works for Westman Farrier Service in Skagit County.

The couple took a weeklong adventure trip to Bucerias, Mexico. They live in Bow.
