ANACORTES — Elizabeth Grace Latham and Jeremy Scott Bucko were married in an evening ceremony Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Long Beach Museum of Art in Long Beach, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Kathy Latham, formerly of Anacortes and now of Lakewood, Calif. The groom is the son of Cary Bucko of Anthem, Ariz., and Jan Wagener of Goleta, Calif.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Mark Bucko.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of blue hydrangeas with fuchsias, ranunculus and anemones, with bright green coffee bean accents and chocolate brown ribbon-wrapped stems.

Annie Stayer of Sonora, Calif., was matron of honor. Brett Wiley of Long Beach was best man.

Rachel Godfrey of Long Beach was bridesmaid.

Wes Turner of Santa Barbara, Calif., was groomsman.

Elijah Stayer of Sonora was the ring bearer.

DJ Ken Weber of Long Beach provided music for the wedding reception, which was also at the museum.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Lakewood High School in California, and in 2004 from Long Beach State University with a bachelor’s degree in English education. She teaches eighth-grade honors English at Hill Classical Middle School in Long Beach.

The groom graduated in 1998 from Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, and from Long Beach State in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He teaches sixth-grade history at Hill Classical Middle School.

The couple took a four-day wedding cruise to Mexico and a three-week summer trip to Italy and Greece. They live in Long Beach.
