July 23



12:25 p.m. Mount Vernon Police officers received a report of a burglary in the 500 block of Shoshone Drive. Entry was gained through the front door that had been kicked in. It was unknown if any items had been taken.



July 24



7:48 a.m. Some bags of horse manure and a cooler were dumped on a corner lot in the 1000 block of N. 15th Street.



4:08 p.m. A boat motor valued at $400 was stolen from a boat parked in a driveway in the 300 block of N. 18th Place.



July 25



2:58 p.m. The catalytic converter was stolen off of a 1995 Toyota 4Runner in the 2100 block of Little Mountain Lane. Loss was estimated at $239.



July 26



1:31 p.m. A stereo and an iPod were stolen from a 2005 GMC Yukon in the 3000 block of Arbor Street. There was no sign of forced entry. Loss was valued at $650.



July 27



4:24 p.m. A stereo valued at $600 was stolen from a 1986 Ford Bronco in the 1400 block of Parker Way. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.



July 29



1:49 p.m. A digital camera and recorder was stolen from a video editing room at the Skagit Valley College Library in the 2400 block of E. College Way. Loss was valued at $1,300.



July 30



3:24 p.m. A 12-year-old male reported leaving his bicycle unlocked outside the YMCA in the 200 block of Fulton Street. When he returned it was gone. It is described as a men’s bike, white with red stripes.





Aug. 1



12:54 p.m. A 54-year-old Oak Harbor woman reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while she was parked at a business in the 2200 block of E. College Way. Entry to the vehicle was possibly made through an unlocked door.



7:32 p.m. A lawnmower was stolen from a shed that was broken into in the 500 block of Shoshone Drive.



Aug. 2



3:12 p.m. CDs, a camcorder, cash and keys were stolen from a 1996 Plymouth Voyager parked at the Skagit Playfields in the 2800 block of Martin Road. Method of entry was unknown. Loss was valued at $810.



4:18 p.m. A rear window was broken out of a 2003 Hyundai Elantra in the 3000 block of Little Mountain Park Road. A laptop, a wallet, personal papers and a gym bag were stolen. Loss is estimated at $785.
