The Nitty Gritty Garden Club plant sale will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, May 8, at the Country Store, 900 Riverside Drive. Features flower-filled baskets and planters, annuals, perennials and club member favorites.
The Skagit Men’s Garden Club plant sale will open at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, or at 9 a.m. Saturday only at the Burlington Community Center, 1011 Greenleaf Ave. Features eggplant, tomato and pepper plants. 360-424-9516.
The Green Thumb Garden Club plant sale will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at 902 24th St., Anacortes. Features a variety of plants. 360-293-5478.
Central United Methodist Women will hold a spring plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at 1013 Polte Road. Choose from a variety of annuals and perennials. Proceeds will support missions for women and children. The Madison Elementary School “Flower Power” sale of student-grown plants or student-created garden art will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at 907 E. Fir St., Mount Vernon. Proceeds will benefit the Skagit County WIC program and Heifer International.
The Lake Cavanaugh Community Center will host a plant sale after the 10 a.m. meeting Saturday, May 23, 35020 S. Shore Drive. Features hanging flower baskets, dish gardens, herb gardens and a variety of potted starts. To pre-order hanging baskets, call Barbara at 360-422-6883.
