PTSA awards scholarships

Casey Anderson and Spencer Wilhelm were awarded $500 financial grants from the Anacortes High School PTSA for 2008.

Anderson will attend Pacific Lutheran University and pursue a career in biology and international studies. She is the daughter of Ross and Judy Anderson.

Wilhelm will attend Washington State University and pursue a career in pharmacy or electrical engineering. He is the son of Bob and Tara Linder.

The grants were awarded based on their service to the community and school, financial need, academic achievement as well as a personal essay and letters of recommendation.
