BATTLE GROUND (AP) — Pumpkins have been the weapons of choice in six recent Clark County reports of vandalism to vehicles.

Battle Ground police and Clark County sheriff’s deputies are investigating.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger reported that a pumpkin smashing on Tuesday damaged the windshield of a parked Subaru.

In Battle Ground, one resident reported late Monday night that someone had thrown pumpkins at two of his vehicles.

A pumpkin went through the rear window of one car while another vehicle hit by pumpkins sustained a dented roof. Others reported windshield and window damage.
