ANACORTES — Sara Nicole Schwabe and Jeremiah Wohlgemuth announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mitchell and Teresa Schwabe of Anacortes.

The groom-to-be is the son of Loren and Carolyn Wohlgemuth of Conway.

Schwabe is a 2002 graduate of Anacortes High School.

Wohlgemuth graduated in 1990 from Brush Prairie High School in Vancouver, Wash., and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in 1995 and 1997 from the University of Washington. He teaches high school history in the Lakewood School District.

The couple are planning a Dec. 27 wedding at Citipoint Church in Mount Vernon.
