July 23



10:45 a.m. Skagit County Sheriff deputies received a report of a subject walking down McLean Road, Mount Vernon, while wearing a hospital gown. When questioned, he said he was going to visit his mother in La Conner. He said he had walked from Mukilteo. He seemed fine to the deputy and was allowed to continue his journey.



11:47 a.m. A caller in the 5000 block of Roney Road, Samish Island, reported two aggressive pit bulls in the neighborhood. Animal control is investigating.



July 24



4:11 p.m. A residence in the 20200 block of English Road, Conway, was burglarized. Missing items included two iPods, two cameras and jewelry. A deputy is investigating potential suspects.



9:44 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious person sitting in a car alongside the road in the 6500 block of Bow Hill Frontage Road, Bow. The caller said he was on a cell phone and appeared angry. When a deputy checked, the man said he was fighting with his mother. He appeared to have been drinking heavily. The deputy called the man’s aunt and she came and got him.



July 26



6:06 a.m. A caller in the 19900 block of County Line Road, Conway, who has several mares, reported that a neighbor’s stallion keeps getting out and coming to the caller’s property. The caller said this is causing problems and would like animal control to speak to the stallion’s owner.



6:38 a.m. Someone tried to break into a Toyota Corolla parked at a labor camp in the 17400 block of Cook Road, Allen, but was unable to make entry. Nothing was taken.



10:35 a.m. A rear window was broken out of a Volvo station wagon parked on Higgins Airport Way, Burlington. It was unknown if anything was missing.



5:19 p.m. A caller reported that five red gas cans with diesel fuel in them valued at $120 and a Craftsman pressure washer valued at $400 were stolen in the 22800 block of Franklin Road, Conway.
