Skagit State Bank has announced the sale of two of its properties.
The bank’s Riverside Drive property in Mount Vernon recently was sold to a private investor.
The small office, once the busiest of all the bank’s Mount Vernon branches, was replaced with the much larger College Way branch in May 2002.
The second property, on Burlington Boulevard in Burlington, was sold to the neighboring Outlet Mall, which has begun an extensive refurbishing project and will use the property to fulfill expansion plans.
The bank intends to relocate employees from the Burlington office to other positions within the bank
