LYMAN — A security system foiled a would-be burglar who deputies say was attempting to break into the Cascade Mercantile. When the alarm sounded, the man fled, sheriff’s deputies said.
Skagit County sheriff’s investigators are looking for the burglar whose image was captured on a convenience store surveillance camera. Deputies released the video today.
The attempted burglary at the convenience store at 31387 Highway 20 occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies said. The incident was reported to 911 around 4:50 a.m. Saturday.
