The Washington State Ferries summer schedule starts Father’s Day, increasing service levels to and from Fidalgo, Whidbey and the San Juan islands.
The summer schedule will run through Sept. 26, and copies will be available at ferry terminals and other locations in the community. To view the schedule, visit http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries.
Changes include:
Adding a vessel and increasing hours of service between Anacortes and San Juan County;
Increasing daily trips between Anacortes and Sidney, B.C., from one to two trips;
Additional weekend trips between Keystone and Port Townsend; and,
Extra service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights between Mukilteo and Clinton.
Reservations for trips on the Keystone-Port Townsend route are being taken for the Fourth of July weekend.
State Ferries also asks customers to consider leaving their vehicles either at home or at the terminal, especially for passengers leaving Anacortes. State ferries will provide free parking from July 3 to 6 at the Anacortes terminal.
