KEYSTONE — Repairs on the Steilacoom II were completed and the ferry resumed today with a 6:30 a.m. departure from Port Townsend to Keystone.

The state ferry runs between Keystone and Port Townsend were canceled around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday when crews determined repairs would be needed. Because of the time it took to get replacement parts and conduct repairs, the ferry’s runs were canceled Thursday.

Washington State Ferries rerouted commuters to the Edmonds-Kingston or Mukilteo-Clinton routes for travel to and from the Olympic Peninsula and Whidbey Island.
