Thanksgiving dinners will be offered in several locations around Skagit County this year. Here are some local events:

SEDRO-WOOLLEY COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER: 12:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, Cascade Middle School, 201 N. Township St., Sedro-Woolley. Free for all community members; donations accepted. For information or to volunteer, contact Stephanie at 360-855-0231 or .
Organizers are also taking orders for free home delivery. Call the Senior Center at 360-855-1531 or the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce at 360-855-1841.

ANACORTES EAGLES AERIE AND AUXILIARY NO. 249: Noon to 4 p.m Thursday, Nov. 26, downstairs in the Aerie, 901 Seventh St., Anacortes. Meals for people who are homebound in Anacortes will be delivered to those who call ahead. To have a meal delivered, volunteer or donate, call 360-293-3012.

SKAGIT VALLEY EAGLES 3242: 12:30 to 3 p.m., 119 N. Cherry St., Burlington. Traditional Thanksgiving turkey with all the trimmings. Free, but donations accepted. Meals will be delivered in a limited area to those unable to attend. Please call 360-755-0483 to have a meal delivered. Leave your name, phone number and address.

OAK HARBOR ELKS LODGE 2362 COMMUNITY HARVEST DINNER: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 155 N.E. Ernst St., Oak Harbor. The entire community is invited. The menu will include deep-fried turkey, smoked turkey, roasted turkey, ham and all the fixings. No charge, but donations are welcome. For information, call 360-675-7111.

REFINERY OPERATOR Tesoro is currently seeking to fill the position of Refinery Operator at its Anacortes facility. An Operator monitors and controls refinery process equipment while working a rotating 12-hour shift, often outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. This can be a physically/mentally challenging job requiring mechanical ability and a basic understanding of physical sciences and chemistry. In addition, candidates must possess a positive work ethic, good communications and teamworking skills and have the willingness to take personal responsibility for the safety of themselves and others. Starting wage will be $21.38 per hour that will initially increase to $25.59 after successful completion of training.
