“A 16-year-old Mount Vernon teen has been booked into juvenile detention on investigation of harassment in connection to the shooting, police said.”

And this is why the problem continues....

I would hope that if & when charges are filed, the charges are for more than “harassment”.  Something on the order of attempted murder at the very least.

I think that perhaps the caption on the article may be misleading. The police have arrested a juvenile for harassment ‘in connection to the shooting’. They have not yet announced they’ve arrested the actual shooter. And if this kid is the shooter, I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts that additional charges are coming.

Two of the three victims have suffered head injuries.  This definitely sounds like attempted murder.

What’s this “we” crap?  The jack-booted, fascist thugs line forms to the right....over in North Korea.  Americans still uphold the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, thank you.

As long as MV’s politicians play politics and opaque governance instead of getting results, expect nothing.

Thank you Lee_USA.  I don’t care for gang banger-esque clothes, but civil liberties matter dude.

The only reason there is a gang problem in this area is because we have allowed it to grow by our unwillingness to take a strong stand against it.

But again, I am a dinosaur in a modern politically correct age…

Look to the homelife if you want to know why there are gangs.

Where are the parents of these 13, 14 and 16 year old kids?  Who didn’t know what their kids were up to at 1:30 AM?  What kind of father lets his son run wild in the streets?

An absent one.

Many of the parents are drug dealing gang-bangers.  Speaking from experience.
