Man sentenced to 34 years for crimes including woman’s death

MOUNT VERNON — A judge sentenced a 24-year-old Sedro-Woolley man to 34 years in prison Friday, calling him a “commercial for how you shouldn’t live your life.”

“For a 24-year-old man, this criminal record could be the biggest one I’ve ever seen,”…

“...already had 10 felonies prior to these latest.” Why didn’t the three stikes law come in to play long ago?  How does one individual rack up 10 felonies?  Why was he still in the community? This is an incomplete article.

Gang problems are like a cancer, whether it be fast or slow growing. You can’t sit there and let it progress.  To do so means you lose.

I have lived in Sedro-Woolley for 35 years, I remember the days when Burlington had the Drive-in theater and there was only dirt roads, even remember when people still rode horses and some in horse drawn carriages, they rode them right down most main streets...then one day some city official started building malls and other large city buildings....all in my opinion “for Greed” with big city, comes big city problems and I figure if its these city Reps. that caused it maybe its time for these city Reps. to do something about it! My first gang encounter was in 1989, and of all places it was Sedro-Woolley, home of the Tar-Hills, this was of course a Hispanic gang of teens, called by me “gang” because they were kicking and spitting on cars that were parked by the high school! Never would of believed it, considering me growing up here, the only gang was a bunch of kids looking for a place to play base ball. Now for any City Rep. that may be reading this...heres my idea, have immigration start patrolling regularly the large apartment buildings of Mount Vernon, Burlington and Sedro-Woolley, immediately deport all illegals found, whether they be Russian or Hispanic. Deport all illegals that are currently sitting in jail, plus all non illegals that came from other countries and committed crimes in our towns using “Visas and Green Cards”. Afterwards make strict policies on apartments and other landlords, to do back ground checks on all foreign people, allow the landlords who own 3 bedroom houses only rent to people who have the proper amount of people to live there! If a landlord does not comply then fine him! Have all Farmers give a list of foreign people that work for them, have them provide a picture and a copy of Visas and Green Cards, if they don’t comply, Fine them. Fine any employer that hires an illegal without proper I.D. and for any legal person that is acting gang like, turn them into work crew clean up, for the roads (I bet after a year of scrubbing graffiti and cleaning up garbage, they wont be thinking about being a gang member! if none of this works, then hire all of my Red Neck Brothers from up river and deputize them....guaranteed....gang problem solved!!!!!

The reason he didn’t get life is because he committed his crimes in one of the most liberal areas of the country - which also happens to be the home of the 9th Circuit Court....

Had he done it in Texas, he would have been put away long ago....

Lets play a math game..  If this scum bag was locked up for life after his third strike, what are the chances of him having killed this 84 year old woman.  ZERO… IT is almost time to start shooting gang bangers..  Arent there enough of us that are sick of this.  This county has gone to ####.  I dont agree with the Klan, but can they just come up here for a week or so and crack some skulls?  I know if I was walking down the street and someone shot a gangbanger in front of me, I would testify that it was in self defense.  Dont you legal law abiding latinos see that these scum are making you look bad?  Dont you want to do something?  Raise your young men to be good people.  Take the extra time, dont let your cousin pepe the coke dealer watch your kid while you work.  Report your cousin pepe for dealing drugs..  Race war, coming soon..  Lets prevent it..  I dont hate any race, but it is getting harder and harder to go into town and see what is happening.
