Pamela and Edward Kaczmarczyk

MOUNT VERNON — Pamela Christine Gohrick and Edward William Kaczmarczyk were married in an afternoon ceremony Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Christ the King Church in Mount Vernon.

The bride is the daughter of Helena Gohrick and the late Kenneth Gohrick of Covington. The groom is the son of the late Stanley and Mary Kaczmarczyk of New York state.

Dave Browning officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride’s brother, Ken Gohrick of Lakebay, escorted her down the aisle.

The bride carried a bouquet of white roses with purple accents.

Char Kennicutt of Denver was the matron of honor. Raymond Kaczmarczyk of Burnt Hills, N.Y., was the best man.

Dave Kaczmarczyk and Frank Campbell, both of Alger, and Gordon Gremmart and Phil Corey, both of Mount Vernon, were the ushers.

Catherine and Jackie Chang provided music on piano and violin.

A reception after the ceremony was held at Christ the King Church.

The bride holds a master’s degree as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) from Seattle Pacific University. She is employed by University Presbyterian Church in Seattle.

The groom graduated from Galway Central High School in Amsterdam, N.Y. He is employed in the maintenance department at Skagit Valley College.

The couple took a wedding trip to Lincoln City, Ore.

Edward and Pamela Kaczmarczyk live in Mount Vernon.
