Arrest made after man brandishes knife, police say

OAK HARBOR — A 22-year-old man was arrested Friday after he reportedly brandished a butcher knife at a woman who let him into her apartment to use her phone.
The man was booked on investigation of burglary and displaying a weapon, as well as on two unrelated theft complaints that were reported to officers shortly before the apartment incident, police said.
After showing the 18-year-old woman the roughly 5-inch long knife, the man left her apartment, and she called police around 1:30 a.m. Friday, telling them he was in the parking lot, police said.
