SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Joan and Clarence “Pinky” Cummings marked their 60th wedding anniversary Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008. They celebrated the event with a train trip to Branson, Mo.

The Cummings have one son, Jerry Cummings of Sedro-Woolley, and one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Bill Yarcho of Big Lake.

The couple have two grandchildren, Wendy and Aaron, and two great-grandchildren, Noelle and Bodee.

Pinky Cummings worked as a builder for many years and was the developer of Rolling Ridge Estates in Sedro-Woolley. Joan retired after working as a registered nurse for Memorial Hospital and United General Hospital.

Pinky and Joan Cummings were married Nov. 12, 1948, in Sedro-Woolley.
