BIG LAKE — A Sedro-Woolley School District school bus carrying 30-plus children was rear-ended on Highway 9 this morning.
No injuries were reported, said Trooper Keith Leary, at state patrol spokesman. The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. today near the intersection of the highway and Walker Valley Road.
The driver following the bus told troopers that he was blinded by the glare of the sun and collided with the back of the district vehicle, Leary said. Information about the type of the vehicle involved in the crash wasn’t available this morning.
Leary said the bus was towed and the district sent another bus to take the students to school. Information on the age of the children and which school they attend wasn’t available.
