MARYSVILLE (AP) — Police are looking for two men, described as persons of interest, in the slaying of a 73-year-old Marysville woman.
One is her granddaughter’s 25-year-old ex-boyfriend, and the other is a man traveling with him and photographed on store surveillance.
Police say they are using her credit card and driving east in a red 1998 Buick Century, Washington license 815USD. It was reported over the weekend in Butte, Mont., when police ran the plate, but there was no reason then to stop the car.
Marysville police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux says the woman’s body was found Monday by a relative.
Neighbors told KING-TV they had not seen her since Friday. They said the granddaughter and her boyfriend would sometimes stay in the home.
